so my son had to a get a tooth pulled in December, long and painful story:(--he was excited about the tooth fairy coming for the first time, but then he lost his tooth...I forgot all about it, but my husband did this for him the other morning. The journaling is the letter he left with the money.
"Dear Sam,
Please accept my deepest apologies for taking so long to come see you. I've been stuck for weeks in a Florida swamp where a whole family of alligators kept losing tooth after tooth after tooth--and alligators have LOTS of teeth! I appreciate your patience.
I heard that your tooth had been misplaced, so I brought my magic tooth-finding gecko
"Rover" to hep me. He found your tooth in no time at all-- at least I think it's your tooth! I would normally give you one dollar for your tooth, but I understand you had to see two dentists to get it out. That's worth two dollars I think, don't you agree?
I'll be seeing you and your sisters again soon, it was a pleasure doing business with you. I just love to collect teeth! Be good and dont' forget to believe in the tooth fairy, and in Rover the magic tooth-finding gecko.
