There's a photo of the ring on the "Something old, something new..." LO in my wedding album. You might need to enlarge it to see the ring well, but it's a great photo.
What a unique and cool way to journal about the ring!Sounds like you two are global travelers!CONFESSION: i would really have loved to see the ring....even if it was a tiny inset in the corner somewhere...You really tweeked my interest in it!!!LOL!!! :D GREAT WORK!!!
Page 4 in my wedding planning mini-album. Instead of a photo, I drew the outline of my very special engagement ring.
Journaling reads: After Tim proposed in Paris, we discussed an engagement ring. I asked him to take an heirloom family diamond and have it reset for me. Our friends Elizabeth and Jessica went with him to find just the right setting in Tel Aviv. The setting Tim chose had to be modified, as it was designed for a huge center stone, to accommodate my modest diamond, but in the process, they made something unique: two flanking diamonds to catch every beam of light, and a bezel setting for the diamond I inherited from John and Pauline.
Update: Since I've had some comments and PMs asking to see the ring, here's a link to the page in my bigger wedding album with a nice sparkly picture of the ring:
