The title is cut from the scrap stack I used to make a lot of this book (DCWV). The journaling is on vellum, cut to fit the outline of the dress.

Wedding dress

Page 5 in my wedding planning mini-album.
Journaling: Mom came to visit me over Preisdents' Day weekend so we could go gown shopping. Our first stop didn't yield "the dress," but did help me solidify what I was looking for. The next day, we visited a trunk show for Demetrios - and found exactly what I wanted: drop waist, close-fitting bodice, and a full train without too much frilliness. The highlight of the dress was an inset at the end of the train with richly detailed beadwork that mirrored the beading on the bodice. The effect was elegant and classic.
