This photo is great! I always love it when I see deer in the forest, and my dh always thinks I'm nuts.. He points out that I see them about 2x per week but every time I get excited anyways! :D

Beautiful photo. We see deer in our field's often and they are such gentle soul's. I love the psalm you quoted, it is beautiful!

As the Deer Pants for the Water Brook

So pants my soul for You, oh God!
Psalms 42:1

My Dad took this picture right out his back door, in Graham Washington. He lived on 40 acres with a 1/2 mile long driveway, with a small bridge going over a creek.

He has a creek running right out the back to the side, which he watered his main garden from. This deer was most likely going for a drink from that creek, since it was only about 15 to 20 feet to his left!

Dad always loved watching the deer come to the front yard to eat from his apple trees. Although, when he was younger, he kept fences around them to keep the deer out!

My children always loved driving up Grandpa's driveway with me. There was always some form of wildlife on it. From deer to rabbits, and raccons, & blue herrons, and an occasional owl.
