This is a lo of my precious dog Barney (well my parents but he was a big part of my life).
The journaling says:
Barney was part of our lives for 11 years. He was the most loving and friendly dog I've ever had in my life. He would be so excited to see us that his whole back end would shake, not just his tail. He loved to play fetch and would do so until he wore us out. One of Barney's quirks was that he wouldn't just get any stick - he was determined to find the biggest log he could.
Barney loved the water too, always bee-lining it to the river when we got to the cottage.
Barney's hips went out on him and after a few years of suffering, he was put down. It wsa extremely difficult for everyone and we all miss him terribly.
Barney, Barn, Barnyard, Barndog - we love you and we miss you.
