SHCG: I love this layout and I cannot believe that you managed to fit all of those elements in here without it looking crazy busy! It looks fantastic. The photo is hilarious. I love the tilted angle of the whole layout and your use of the fiber in the buttons is a definite favorite thing of mine on this layout! I would like some light inking around the mat and/or the letters, but as I have said before that is just a personal preference. This is fabulous as is, and makes me crack up!
Love the fiber centers of you buttons. My fibers just sit there waiting to be used but I could never figure out how to use them in a cute way. Great layout. Love the fact that Dad wrote a note for the journaling. So sweet.
Love this layout! I love everything! The only thing I would change would be the color green. Perhaps more of a lime less of a mint. I think something with a yellow tone to it to match her oh so cute flower in her hair better. Awesome job!!!
SHCG: what a wonderful layout! i absolutly love the green...just loves how it sticks out! my only suggestion would also be to ink the letter to make them pop out more! love the flowers@!
SHCG: What a cute picture and it really does show her thoughts about the entire event. I love those flowers and buttons with the crazy fiber coming out! I also really love the angled placement of everything. My only suggestion would be to ink the green letters and strip of paper to tie it in with the rest of the page. Right now that mint green seems to jump right out at me. This is my one and only suggestion as the page is fabulous. Wonderful job!!
SHCG - Wowza, this is a wonderful page, Amanda! What an excellent response to that challenge to use so much stuff, you done great! LOL on the feet & nice work re: subtle touches on the green. Outstanding use of all those elements. Now, I can visualize a little inking around the title and photo for added focus to the subjects, since you're working w/ such a lovely mix of various embellies that also call for attention, but that's more of a preference; it certainly already works as is. I could also see having the right margin just a little wider. Overall, super page & challenge response. So sorry they couldn't make her bday but looks like you got a marvelous LO out of the whole thing & having the note from her Dad is just too sweet!
SHCG; I amazed at how many different elements you were able to fit onto one page without it looking cluttered at all!! I absolutely love the angle of this. I really love the way the striped pp is.. it almost makes the title look like it's 3-D and coming off of the page (at first glance i thought it was lol). Love all of the colors and embellies. Love the rounded corners on the photos. Great page, don't think I'd change a thing
this is my dd Brittany at her 5th b-day party. She was in a bad mood because her Dad and sister were stuck out of town, so when I told her to smile for the pic, this is what I got. I have hidden journaling (purple strip w/brads) that is telling her about that day, and has a note from her dad about how much he wanted to be there for her b-day. This is for 2 challanges, the Forbidden city Love challange. Had to be 50% red, have 5 or more hearts min 1 sentance journaling.
