SHCG: I love how versatile this little dude is! I love all the elements that you used here, especially the recycled cardboard. What a fabby idea! My only suggestion would be to add some little red accents to the "hello, my name is" sticker. I just want a litttle of the orangey-red to carry over onto that. This is totally rad!
SHCG: This is adorable! My only sugestion would be to put a very thin white frame around the pic to make it pop out even more. I love the button, and the monster stamp!
well what i think is that is awesome..... great job with the new techniques..... this card is great!!!! and oops it just fell in my favs..... oh well guess i'll keep it for a while.... hehehehe
SHCG - Wow, your use of various techniques & materials here is absolutely incredible!! Each element/technique is eye-catching, I love how the cardboard looks in the background, love the buttons & the use of all those awesome stamps! A tiny addition I'd add is an orangey-red matte around the photo that coordinates w/ the button, cuz that color is so attention-getting & I'd like some of that attention also drawn to the photo. I so love that huggy monster & how you used it here. Awesome tag, Nicole!
SHCG: All the work you put into this was well worth it. I absolutely love every single one of the elements you used right down to the x stitching. The corrugated cardboard look with the torn edges is just way too cool. My only suggestion would be to use an olive green either for the photo mat or the nametag to complement the red and make it pop.
SHCG; well, you look like a pro!! I really want to make some of those clay buttons. You will have to tell me how you did them, and what paint pens you used.
It's my first use of one of the clay buttons I made this week.
It's "green" repurposed cardboard, bubblewrap, quiting fabric, and paper scraps.
It's a new technique for me I painted bubble wrap and used it like a stamp, plus I've never used actual cardboard before. I've also heat embossed, used crystal lacquer, used paint with an acrylic stamp, inked over my photo, hand stitched, and basically inked the you know what out of the entire thing! My manicure will never be the same...and I'm ok with that! lol
It's my first time using my new (and totally AWESOME) Queen Kat Design stamps! I got them yesturday and just couldn't wait any longer to use them. Even my four yr old thinks they are "cool"! lol I used stamps from these sets...
