The first page for my Vacation 2002 Album. We took the "Scenic" route to travel to my hubby's daughters wedding. It was sooooo beautiful and a vacation I will always remember, our kids were 3yrs and 5 months and were perfect little travelers considering it took us two days to get there, lol.
Journaling: My most favorite place in the world is the mountain parks, I am always in awe as we drive through as I feel so humbled and small but so very blessed to be able to enjoy the beauty that is practically right in our back yard. As we head out on a 2 day journey to travel to Trail, BC to attend Doug's eldest daughters wedding we decided to take the scenic route and travel through the mountain parks. As I am usually the primary driver on trips I had to switch places with Doug because he thought that we were going to have an accident if I kept gawking out the windows instead of concentrating on the road. He was right, all I wanted to do what watch the beauty go by. We were only 15 minutes into Banff National park when I begged for him to pull over into a little road side turn out that had this single lone bench sitting on the side of the road. What a photo opportunity, Doug finally gave in (with much resistance, he knew that I would be begging to stop every ten minutes).
