Wow, did this page ever take a totally different turn than how I started…..I began with a pic of my son but the page was starting to look so girly, I figured I’d use it for Brielle. I could use this journaling with lots of pages, because I always find myself thinking that they look so much older than they should. This journaling is lifted from Jodie Davidson (http://www.designerdigitals.com/ddgallery/showphoto.php?photo=54560). I am always admiring the look of Dagmar’s (lenasmommy at designer digitals) photos and from one of her pages, I found a cool site with Lightroom presets…which are great because other than using presets I have no idea where to begin in this program. This photo has Matt’s 300 preset applied and I erased the sweater and eyes on this layer so the original colors would show through. The eyes and sweater looked too dark with the preset applied. I also tried my hand at a different drop shadow technique on the butterfly…I didn’t do as well as other pages that I’ve seen, but I’m satisfied. :) I’ve already spent waaayyy too long on this page. :)
