This is my favorite LO of DS so far, it's a touchy subject, but I wanted to make a memory of it for him.

Date: March 22, 2005
One cold rainy weekend Kristy, a.k.a “Mommy” decided to try and paint the living room by herself. She pulled the couch forward in order to paint the wall behind, and as she wasn’t quite tall enough to reach the top of the wall, the couch stayed pushed forward until Stephen, a.k.a “Daddy” decided to paint. Daddy had Monday and Tuesday off after working a long weekend, and didn’t want paint his only days off. By Tuesday, his second day staying home with Daddy, Mason had grown tired being cooped up in his playpen, in efforts to keep him away from wet walls and exposed outlets.
Daddy decided to push the couch up against the wall in an effort to make a space for Mason to crawl around in. Schatzi, the family pet, was running around the house as usual, and was trapped in the same space as Mason. Schatzi was trying desperately to get away from Mason, however she ended up backed into a corner. Out of fear of the unknown, as she was chased into a situation she couldn’t get out of by Mason, Schatzi attacked.
Some say it was self-defense.
Daddy picked Mason up and comforted him. He called Mommy at work and told her that Schatzi had bit Mason. Daddy was very angry with Schatzi. Mommy was upset, but given the circumstances, understood why Schatzi bit Mason. Mommy and Daddy agreed that Mason and Schatzi had to be watched more closely, and that Schatzi needed to be locked up when they weren’t around to watch.
Verdict: Guilty
Sentence: Short term sentence at minimum security doggie prison.
