Hey Mosey, I was looking over the quotes for the quote challenge forum and as soon as I saw this one I thought of your photo! Thought you might like to know that your pictures leave a memory with some even if we are not directly connected :) The quote.... Every path has its puddle.
Oh Boy!!!! I try to keep Xavier from doing that! He loves to jump in puddles, especially when he's wearing beige pants and we're in a hurry to get somewhere...
"He brought me out of the miry clay,
He set my feet on the Rock to stay;
He puts a song in my soul today,
A song of praise, hallelujah!"
"I’ll sing of His wonderful mercy to me,
I’ll praise Him till all men His goodness shall see;
I’ll sing of salvation at home and abroad,
Till many shall hear the truth and trust in God."
Now there are times i wish I was a child again or have a small child with me and this is that occasion!! Looks like the rest of us can stop trying this month, we already have a winner.
Excellent shot, Mosey and what a fun family you are :D I don't recall ever doing something like this with my kids, although we used to love to go sledding together in the winter and wading in the creeks in the summer!
Great capture with the movement of the water and the look of glee on Caleb's face :D
TFS - going into my Favorites!

Wow, that is an awesome puddle. Even our best KS rains don't produce puddles quite like that (altho the kids have "swum" in the ditches") Great photo, love the water flying everywhere!
We all know how hard it is to resist a puddle! How do you manage to keep the mud stains out? We always have to wear our "Workin" clothes to play in the puddles.
Mosey - I've said it before and I'll say it again - those kids are double blessed - to have an awesome mom who has no fear of dirt and "boy fun" and to live in a place where such things become part of their lives and burn permanent memories in their minds. This photo should be in a gallery as a testiment to what a GREAT mom is.
what a great shot, love the action in this one. - your mud must wash out fairly nicely... he's in light colored clothing. We were dark clothes here if/when we puddle jump. Our mud has a tendency to leave stains.
This is my oldest son Caleb! He is 6 years old! Today as a family we played on the driveway in the puddles from the melting snow again, just can't resist this great weather! LOTS of fun, I even handed off my camera after a while and jumped with the boys and got completely soaking wet! It was GREAT!
