Lori dear - I am going to take that as the biggest compliment ever! Truly, I am a nobody - but gosh, would I love to be on a Heidi Grace DT - I love her papers!
oh, ok. it'd been up since right after the display went up and so i thought it came with the product (like with ek and some of the other companies). no hard feelings! i just thought it looked superfancy and like it WOULD be from a company DT!
if it's not up, it probably just fell down with all this nasty humidity. i didn't know it had been done by a customer. right on with the contest then, i think it's great - i just thought it was dt work! :)
If having it displayed at my local LSS disqualifies it then so be it. I took it in to my the store I frequent last week to let them copy it should they want to put it on the wall to give their customers ideas on how to use the papers. I was in there yesterday and did not see it, so I thought maybe they didn't care for it. It's not being used by Heidi Grace officially - I was just trying to help my favorite store in giving their customers ideas.
not to be a party pooper, but isn't this lo being used by heidi grace as a display idea? because a tagboard copy is hanging at my lss. i would think that would make it ineligible for contest entry.
This paper was perfect for this group of photos - bright and happy! The flower used to ground the title picks up on the field of dandelions my daughter is running through. Strips of Heidi Grace coordinating stripe paper were used as part of a layered ribbon design. Large photo mat and striped PP lightly edged with warm brown ink to accent warm brown used in the "words" PP subtley brings it all together. Quote tag is homemade using chipboard, corner rounder and mod podge over PP. Ranger distress inks enhance the mottled appearance and were added after the mod podge dried. For the title, a circle was cut from "green dotted" PP and edged in brown ink; rub-on letter added and then used dimensional glaze and allowed to dry before layering title components. Quote on layout by Henry David Thoreau reads: “Happiness is like a butterfly: the more you chase it, the more it will elude you, but if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder.”
