Oh, what a beautiful LO! God has really given you the gift of creativity, with your hands and your words!
I am putting this in my favorites so I can come back to it and read again later.
It definitely deserved to win!!!! this is just incredible in every way!!! amazing, amazing photo and the way you presented it in this lo is just perfect!!! perfect journaling, too!!!!
This is very beautiful! I love how all the journaling is incorporated. The colors and the picture and the tag just all blend so wonderfully to make this breathtaking! TFS :)
This is one of the most beautiful layouts I have ever seen. The photo of those baby birds anticipating their parent's food is AMAZING. Right before my Pop passed away, the only thing he could do was sit in his recliner and he had it sitting right next to his sliding glass door, and granny had "orders" to feed the birds, so he could watch them. There were so many sun-flower seed shells on that back porch we had to rake them off. This layout has blessed me by reminding me to stop and watch the birds, like my pop did. Congratulations on winning this much deserved contest.
I created this LO for my devotional scrapbook; and just learned it won a contest at praisebooking.com!!
Journaling reads: Creation – God’s greatest miracle. Each day I awake I am blessed to be given another day on this earth - with my family, friends, a job that I enjoy, and the inevitable moments that I am given to create something. Each day I hear the birds singing and am thrilled when God allows me to see the works of His hand. Whether it is the delight of my children, or the wondrous miracle of new life - all of God’s creation stems from the very first miracle when He created heaven and earth and all its creatures. He made me – created in His own image. How wondrous is that?! God gave me gifts to use by His presence dwelling inside me through the Holy Spirit. It is up to me to use these gifts to glorify and praise His name. Some days this is more easily done than others, but His presence in my life makes all things possible. His very presence on this earth is evident all around, if only I take the time to stop, listen and look. Perhaps I don’t see God telling the lame man to walk, or feeding five thousand with a few fish and loaves of bread, or even raising the dead - but I am witness to the miracles of our time... families made, relationships mended, children healed, and peace that comes at the end of suffering... all in an answer to faithful prayer. Should unexpected miracles be the norm in our daily lives? Or should we rather EXPECT MIRACLES? For indeed, God’s miracles are very present. If in any way, I can play a small part in bringing about today’s miracles, I pray that God uses me as His vessel. I arise each morning and am thankful for all the miracles He has shown me and those yet to come. I pray about how I might be a part as I serve him. But most importantly, I rejoice for the very gift of my life, and that of those around me and the presence of His Spirit in my life. Bird song marks the start of yet another day, and each time I hear it I am grateful for the gift of life, and the miracle that is ME!
The file folder opens to reveal more journaling about the miracles God has performed in my life.
