This is for the "Word that describes you" challenge. My word is "NERD".
I've given this a lot of thought because I find my self full of controversy's and sometimes have a hard time putting a label on me if I have to. I'm a very girly girl but I am also an industrial engineer, I have two wonderful children and a husband so a lot of my time is spent with and caring for my family which I can proudly state that I do very well but still I can hardly keep a plant alive longer than two weeks... but then, when the plant is almost dying I'll figure out a very scientific way to revive it... and today, while describing one of these plant-reviving techniques of mine to a fellow engineer (a male co-worker to be exact), I used the word "surface-hyper-tension" to describe something I observed while reviving the plant... and then I just kept going while my co-worker laughed his ass of... I had no idea what was so funny until he asked me what my non-engineer girl-friends would say if I used a word like that... and then he said, for such a girly girl, you're such a NERD! Which is so true! I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, engineer, scrapper, photographer and millions of other things, but all of these roles are dominated by the nerd inside me. People always seem so surprised to find out when they get to know me, which usually surprises me because thats my "true" identity, I'm a nerd and proud to! So there, I said it :)

P.s I'm icelandic, and the icelandic expression for "nerd" is "nörd" so it's not a typo in the title ;)
