My son has had this blond streak in his hair, but it was VERY prevalent in a lot of our vacation pictures. Seemed very ironic to me because Florida is where my family is from, where my grandaddy is buried. I know it may sound silly, but I'd always wanted to do a page about it and now seeing these pics made the time right.

Journaling: We noticed it the day you were born. A thin little strip of hair that stood out from your dark, brown locks. It was the telltale sign you had McKibben blood in you. When your grandma saw you I think it took her by surprise. You inherited this directly from her father Rodney. Your great-grandfather, my Grandaddy. He had 8 children and only one of them has it. And, out of his 22 grandchildren and great-grandchildren you are the only one to have it. Grandaddy passed away when I was 17. I think he would have been proud of his legacy. The kids with the mean streaks...the kids with the wild streaks...and the ONE with the blond streak.
