I had forgotten about these photos until I found them in mum's album the other day. I loved the trips to Woolahra - I made at least 2 as a preschooler and schoolkid. Seeing the farm and all the animals was a wonderful experience. Just a year later, mum and dad bought us our own 'farm' with chickens, duck, sheep, cows and a horse! I was in heaven with all the animals.
Journalling:
Most kids who grew up in Brisbane have been to Woolahra at one time or another, usually in preschool. I vividly remember enjoying this visit - Mum even came along. The incubation room was amazing, it was hard to believe that baby chicks were waiting to hatch. Getting
to hold the ducklings was absolute magic.
