DeAnna, this is wonderful!!! Beautifully laid out and what great words of wisdom! Love the part about it being easier to keep it off than take it off! LOL! I should've listened to that one too! :) Into my favs!
MarchMadness/Letter to me Challenge I apologize for the pic. I don't like the colors, the background is actually a dark red not a bright orange. I'm afraid I need a new camera :(
Journaling reads: I am struggling to write this letter because I have always believed that to change anything about my past would change who I am today and I have always thought, considering the circumstances, that I’m not too bad. I rather like myself. Lately, however, things are starting to change. Midlife crisis?? Who knows, but here goes.
Dear DeAnna, There are a few things I wish you had known about yourself.
1. Listen to your Gramma! She really knew what she was talking about when she said that it’s easier to keep it off than it is to take it off when you’re older!!!
2. Don’t sweat the little things! Remember to pick your battles wisely. You will waste way too much time fighting for things that in the long run do not matter and will only cause you too much grief.
3. Enjoy others! Don’t be so self involved. You will regret the wasted years and the consequences of your actions later. As will the most important people in your life.
4. Find God Sooner! Believe me girl you are going to need him!!!
5. Oh whatever 6, 7, 8, 9 they all amount to the same thing!!!
If we are lucky, very lucky, we get 70 springs. 70 Springs, 70 summers, 70 falls & winters. And that’s it, 70 perhaps 80 Springs if we are lucky! You have already wasted over half of them. Use the rest a little more wisely please.
