Journaling: After almost twenty years of living in Napa CA, I was used to having everything - and I mean everything at my fingertips. It was refreshing to move to Bullhead City; a small town with a slow pace, but when we found out we were getting a Target store and a real shopping center to go with it, I was really excited. I watched the construction of the new store with anticipation. Finally the day came when the new store was to open. Amy, Audj, Livi and I went to the opening and so did almost everyone else in Bullhead. You know you live in a small town when they have the high school marching band at the opening of a Target and it gets on the front page of the paper. We thought it was pretty funny... I mean, up until now, I thought towns just "came" with Targets. Of course Amy had to be the first person to make a purchase and for that she got her picture in the paper. Now that it is here and open I have a bittersweet feeling...our little tiny town is growing and it will never be able to go back. Do we really need more "stuff" to buy?
