JFF ~ Spring in Alaska, Revisited

The snow is melting and the long-buried grass and leaves are slowly-but-surely becoming visible again :) We are several weeks ahead of schedule, but I'm definitely NOT COMPLAINING!! The green grass you see is not new growth, but leftover stuff from last fall - our grass rarely has time to turn brown before the snow falls.

Cropped the image a little and used the oil paint filter.
