My eldest sister, Mary Esther (Mendoza) Trevino.
She passed away in 2004.
This was the last photo I had of her.
She sent it to me from her cam, asking me "where are you, I don't see you.", because we had not emailed each other in a few days.
All of the cuts & designs here are free hand drawn & randomly hand cut. No special layout to follow, just cut and paste and thinking as I go along, ah, that looks good there! Thinking more of puzzle piecing each scrap! Notice how I used the original scrap pieces of the cut swirls as well.
It took me 3 hours to design this one. I went along on an oil rig expedition (rig surveying job) with my hubby yesterday to Sabine Pass, Texas, and this is what I was doing in the truck while listening to music & waiting for him to finish up his survey.
