The other day temps around here warmed into the 30's and for a change the wind was not howling like a banshee. Almost a perfect day for a winter walk. Zoe saw me grab my Ipod and put on my coat, I think the sunglasses were the clincher...she went crazy!! I don't think there are too many things that dog loves more than going for a walk with her mama, if there is one I can't think of it! LOL!
Decided to take my camera along, thinking I might just get a shot or two of our winter landscape. The snow was too deep on the trails, so I had to stick to the sidewalks. I did manage to get a few photos, despite having an 85 pound dog tugging at me. This one I took from the bridge on Ansborough Avenue, it's a photo of Black Hawk Creek and the surrounding woods. Would have loved to get down in the woods to get some pictures, but I would have needed a pair of snow shoes! TFL!!
