"Get a Haircut ya' Hippie"

My son had 1 goal returning to football camp, (where there's a mandatory haircut and shave) to give the coach a rise and hear him yell, "get a haircut". Kind of like a "senior rite of passage". He planned for it all summer with no haircuts.... as did his friends. He didn't get yelled at, but the coach did humiliate him in front of the team. It was all he wanted, I got the pictures, ...the memories,... he had his simple pleasure, ....and.... a haircut!! He certainly is "You-nique!!" and as the tag says, "A Slogan For An Interesting Life...WHY NOT?"

Journaling: Britton was determined to show up at football camp with long hair and his version of facial growth. Refusing any haircuts all summer, he checked in with his fellow counterparts (Kyle & Peter) doing the same. He got the attention of Coach Taylor and was asked, "What kind of hair products do you use on that?" A mandatory haircut before the 1st practice soon followed. He met "Anthony" and learned about an "ear in a jar" and what happens to boys "who don't listen". It's off to football 2-a-days, where "No Hippies Are Allowed".
