Emily! This is fantastic! I always love your journaling and this lo is no exception. It hit home with me, as I am sure it did with many of the ladies who have viewed it here. The design is perfection, too, as are all of yours!! (btw--you two are *still* as cute as ever!)
Confession: I'm insanely jealous of EmilyB's journaling style!!!! I love this so much Emily!!!! I can relate to every word you wrote. Definitely one of my all time favorites from you!!!
EM! This is NOT snobby at all! I think it is awesome! It explains how you feel and exactly how it is! L is right, you NEED to write a book! I would read it cover to cover! AWESOME!
This is great, Em!!! I love the paper you've chosen, and the cute pic!!! The journaling is great..... makes me long for those long, lost days. But like you, I wouldn't trade now for anything. I better stop.... I'm getting misty! ;)

This is awesome! Your journaling is wonderful, and makes me nostalgic for our pre-kid and pre-responsibility days!
Those door knockers are too cool! Great layout!
Check us out, Babe—two cute honeymooners bouncing over the waves on a Zodiac off the coast of Maui. Life was so simple then. We focused on our careers, our friends, and, of course, each other. We had no idea what the future had in store for us—that we would endure two heart-breaking miscarriages, but would also be blessed with two healthy, wonderful sons to light up our days. Here we are, seven years later, total suburbanite yuppies, living in our 2-story house, driving our two children around town in our SUV. You’re flourishing in your career and I’m enjoying (almost) every day of being a homemaker. Not that things are complicated now, but they are definitely not as simple and easy as they were back then. Remember going to the store all by yourself? Being able to stop and run into a gas station restroom without unbuckling two grumpy kids from their carseats and dragging them along? Remember when our shopping list for a party consisted of lots of beer, but no juice boxes? Remember sleeping through the night, but more importantly, sleeping in without being awoken by the sticky voice of a toddler saying, “Mommy? Daddy? I hungry.” Or worse, “Mommy? Daddy? I wet.” Yes, things were definitely easier before gigantic mortgage payments, preschool tuition, temper tantrums, and sibling squabbles, but I wouldn’t change our current life for the world. I thank the Lord every day that I have you to travel this journey with me. I love you, Babe.
