What a gorgeous layout of your daughter.. so soft so girly and so beautiful!! I came across your layout, while checking a friends opinion on the "The Crafter's Workshop - 12x12 Doodling Templates - Regal Flourish" Yours was the first one shown. Just wanted to stop in and say beautiful layout.
WOW! This is honestly one of the most beautiful layouts I've seen! You did such a great job. It's perfect! And what a precious photo! Great job... Love it!
OMGosh, this is just so beautiful, don't be surprised if you see a similar design soon on sb.com lol!!! I just love what you've done with the flourishes - I just completed a lo where I doodled and glittered the flourish and was looking at the different templates when your lo came up as an example of how you can use it - has made me want to buy that particular template that you used!! Just amazing, I love it all, that photo is just perfect too!!
Amazing layout! Would LOVE to know more details about that tracing from the flourish templates - I have those & am not quite sure how you did that. The little pop-up flowers are such a beautiful touch - love it all!!
This is truly the PRETTIEST layout I've seen in a long time! The photo is priceless, the color palette is stunning, and your doodling looks gorgeous! Straight into my faves...Wow!!!
YOU CERTAINLY PUT ALOT OF WORK INTO THIS ONE, AND IT SHOWS. IT WAS WORTH IT FOR THIS RESULT. IT IS GOREOUS. PERFECT CHOICES FOR EVERYTHING. THIS IS SOOO GOING INTO MY FAVS.
This is my dd her first year of Dance Class. She was 13 months old. I took this picture of her and the whole family needed one the same day after viewing it on my camera. I took a doodle class last night where I learned how to use doodle templates and color it in, make it 3d from cutting it. Today I put all the finishing touches to my layout and I knew from the start this picture would be perfect for the papers. I stamped BG Flourish stamp on the off white CS. I first stamped on a scrap paper to make it light to look like the paper came that way then stamped on the actual paper. I used Tim Holtz ink. I then inked the edges of the CS. Next I got a template from THE CRAFTERS WORKSHOP and traced the flourishes I wanted. I colored them in with the best markers I have yet to use. The stampin' up markers. I used a exacto knife to cut slits into the flourishes that I wanted to hold my picture and slipped the picture into it. I punched out two different shape flowers. Layered them on top of each other. Also did this with a folk art heart punch in two sizes and layered it. Then added a foam dot to make it POP. I added some bling to the flourishes and to the hearts. I added pebbles from the Robin's Nest to the middle of the flowers. Put some ZOTS on the back and placed them along the doodled flourishes. Mounted the white paper with Foam pop squares to the BG pp. Then added more doodled flourishes in another color to the corners. And there you have it! =)
I added rub ons for the title. Lost in the moment, Little Princess!
The tag reads, May you Always let your beauty shine from within. There are close ups of the tag also in my gallery.
