Journaling Flowers My Mom's backyard in Texas was a gardener's oasis. The one place where you could sit in peace, read a book, take a nap, or talk about the FLOWERS. Always in bloom. Always a million different colors. Mom was a sculptor in that garden, filling different containers with different plants. Different colors mixed together in a pallette of a master painter. Mom and I spent many hours back in that yard, weeding, planting and talking to the flowers. Hanging Spainish moss from the trees. Clipping, pruning and communicating with nature. The robins, bluebirds and hummingbirds that visited every year. Oh, how I miss that time together. Just Mom, Me and the Flowers.
