Mod Podge is a combo glue/sealer that has been used for many years in craft projects. Many people used it as kids to coat an object with pretty papers, such as a cigar box.

Very nice!!! I have no idea what decoupage is though ... lol ... or mod podge! heh! That's probably why I haven't done anything like this!

Tin Container / Lunch Box - Mother - Open Lid view

My first altered tin container! The Mod Podge was hard to work with and I'm not sure it was the best way to go. After thi sproject, I collected some tips on various ways to adhere the papers without doing decoupage, so I plan to try some of those. However, I am pleased with how it came out and I think my mother-in-law will enjoy receiving it.
