We took a field trip to philadelphia to show my daughter the sights.
Journaling reads: "Emily's first official trip was into the city of philadelphia to visit the Liberty Bell and to see the sites pertaining to Ben Franklin. Emily found the city to be very overwhelming. Waiting in the lines at the LIberty Bell, going through the security check points were all a little scary to a 6 year old. The favorite part of the day for Emily was looking at the cemetary where Ben Franklin is buried. We were all a little drawn into reading the dates on the tomb stones. It was so much fun to see the sites through the eyes of one who had never seen them before.
