Every winter we try to get away from Minnesota for a week or two and travel to warmer places. That usually means crashing at my mom’s house in Florida., and this year was no exception. I love Florida in “winter” before the big rush of tourists (like us).
JOURNALING READS: We walked along the beach marveling at the wild beauty winter brought. The wind was strong and we were fascinated by the gulls hanging tough on the side of the pier with their faces to the wind. It was a great day to let the cares of our work lives blow away and reconnect with each other.
