Greece p.5 - The Island of RHODOS

Here the continuity of my challenge ''GREECE''.

Journaling: Rhodos is the largest of the islands of Dodécanèse and it counts a population of approximately 98.000 inhabitants. Very touristic island, it attracts each year a thousands of tourists. The island had a long prosperity and a splendid civilization. The medieval city, located at the center of the capital was built by the knights of Saint Jean. It is completely remarkable and will plunge you in a moyen-âge atmosphere. A general-purpose place to stay for the holidays to Greece. It is very pleasant to be let lose in the tortuous lanes of the medieval city in order to discover the place of the Large Masters, the museums, the Turkish baths, of the shaded small squares, the street of the Knights, the street Socratous which is the principal commercial street of the old city... The village of Lindos perched at the top of a cliff is also of a great architectural interest: Lindos is dominated by an Acropolis and a castle built by the Knights. It is a magnificiant site which offers a very beautiful view; you will see enormous cliffs. Rhodos is attracting by its natural beauties: it has remarkable very fine gilded sand beaches and splendid green landscapes.

I'm very satisfied with the result! *but SORRY for the bad traduction...
