I did this layout for a quote challenge - we used 'The Rose' by Bette Midler
When I was in high school and just starting to scrapbook, my cousins were my favorite photo subjects. I came across this picture the other day and knew it was perfect for the challenge. I developed this picture myself in my photo class, so I was glad it was already in B&W - I just used a Blending Pen and ink from my Hollyhock inkpad to color the rose. This was a picture I took of my cousin at my Great-Grandma's funeral - so even though this was in October, and not spring, I still think this quote fits.
This was a really simple and quick layout, but I'm pleased with it. I used a Page Map sketch.
