This photo has been hanging on our fridge since may 2006... or since my birthday 2 years ago. Hubby and our son (I was 8 months pregnant with my other son at the time) gave me a new camera for my birthday but the camera hadn't arrived yet so I got this photo which was a birthday card as well with writing on the back. I didn't want to loose the text, it was so cute, so I put it in a hidden journaling behind the photo (you can see the threads sticking out).
This LO is done for a challenge on an icelandic scrapsite I belong to, the challenge was to step outside our comfort zone... I thought I didn't have a comfort zone but was told otherwise and boy were they right! My comfort zone is clean cuts, single color backgrounds, free spaces and nothing to busy. Sooo in this LO are no one-colored paper (except underneath the text in the textboxes in the bottom left corner). I also did hidden journaling which I've never done before. And this is also a single page LO, which I rarely do... I almost always do 2 pagers. I guess I could have gone more wild on the patterened paper but still... I tried and this is all I could do this time ;)
