I somehow came across this layout of yours. I didn't know of your loss. So sad. My sil is in Afghanistan now and we pray daily for him. My daughter now understands the saying "families serve also". Very nice tribute layout. Hugs.
This is such a beautiful, touching layout. I am truly sorry for your loss, and I'm so thankful for his service to his country. You are right, freedom isn't free at all. My prayers for you, your husband, and your son!
Wonderful lo! Love the sentiment. My hubby was Active Duty Air Force for 23 years & still works for the AF... I know the cost of freedom, and appreciate it with all my heart. tfs :)

Oh, this just made me bawl. I am literally sitting at my desk at work, crying. When my DH was in Iraq (contractor), he attended a memorial service. Your DH was a hero. Thank you and God will bless him for his ultimate sacrifice.
I'm a former Marine (Sergeant, 1st Marine Division) who has served in Iraq. I am so sorry for your loss and our fallen brother, even though we may not have known him personally. You are brave as well because you have to carry on. My heart and prayers are with you and your family. This is a beautiful layout. Semper Fidelis Ma'am.

What a beautiful and touching LO. My sympathy goes out to you and your family. I for one, also being an ex military wife, appreciate the great sacrifice your husband made for our country and freedom each and everyday.
This is a beautiful layout, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the ultimate sacrifice that you and your very special husband have made for this wonderful country. I thank God every day for our brave soldiers such as your own personal hero, who keep us safe here in our country. We must never forget that our freedom really isn't free.
This lo is so touching and personal, thank you for sharing it and im truly sorry for your loss. Those pictures they do for lost soldiers are so hard to look at, they always bring tears to my eyes...wonderful tribute!
This layout is so stunning! It takes your breath away the minute you look at it! The journaling made me cry. I have been thinking about him a lot the past two weeks and yesterday, him and I had a heart to heart. Picture me walking around the living room talking to his picture. I love you and I am so proud of you. Eddy is looking down smiling seeing how much you keep his memory and life alive. He is not only my hero, you are as well. Love you always, colie xo
Wow this is amazing. Your strength is so admirable. (hug) The journaling brought tears to my eyes. The page is wonderful, thank you again for such inspiration to me and others.
Wow.. What a layout.. This layout brought tears to my eyes. {{hugs}} to you and your family. You did an awesome job on this layout. The torn paper looks amazing. You accomplished your mission, looks like a flag. The blue ink is a great touch. The matted blue photo looks great. Makes the entire layout look like a flag. I agree with you - we all need to remember that freedom isn't FREE. No words could say how grateful this country is for the price you paid. I wear my red shirt on Friday's in honor of our troops. {{God Bless}}
Hi. I love this LO. Mostly I want to thank you for the price you and your family have paid for our freedom. I am so sorry for your loss. THANK YOU. YOU are a hero to me.
This is the pictures from the first memorail that they did for my husband and Ben (the other marine K.I.A w/my husband) The top picture was taken in iraq and the bottom picture next to the journaling was also taken in iraq the men around him were the brothers in his unit! it took me almost two years to be able to look at the pictures and to sit down and scrap them! the journaling reads: babyboy,even as i scapped this LO it still feels like a horrible dream! you have always been my hero,my bestfriend My soul mate, my everything! i never in a million yrs amagines having to live my life without you! you will always own my heart! when you died a peice of me went with you! i now realize the true meaning of "Freedom Isn't FREE" I can promise you that i will make you proud I will keep your memory alive! I will accomplish everything that I promised you! Be my angel now and watch over me! give our baby a big kiss for me, save me a seat next to you and our son I will one day meet you both up there and always remember YOU ARE MY HERO!
behind the journalin in the pocket is the poem that I wrote for him after he had passed away! way to long to type in this! sorry!
To make the LO i ripped stripps of red paper inked the edges in blue ink...put blue sparkeled paper behind the pics (hoping to look like a flag!) cut out Freedom Isn't FREE and drew strips and stars on it...used the journaling paper and put red white and blue inside each lil hole! TYFL and please never take your freedom for granted because people like my husband have fought and died to make sure you remain to have them!
