Oh Kathy...this is so great. I love how you scrapped it and told your story because everything is not great on vacation unfortunately. But you did a great job with it.
ha! what a great story to scrap! the colors and embellishments really set a nice mood, so calm and peaceful. i'm sorry you didn't enjoy your dinner, LOL! =)
I love the layout and the subject. How different! And now I remember walking by that restaurant and I can be thankful we kept walking :)
I like the kraft paper idea but I think it makes it look a little washed out. Some darker blues might work nicely. But I think its all in what you like.
I like the Kraft paper and the lo overall is great. I really like the torn pp border on the right so maybe you could do something like that on the left page to balance it out (not necessarily along the left border)??
I agree with Cathy, thinks it maybe needs just a touch more blue. Otherwise, kraft paper goes with almost everything, lol!
I hate spending good money at a bad restaurant! That's why it's hard to get me to try anything new, lol
This is for the Themepark Challenge - #5 - a layout about food. This is also for the VLB challenge - paper tearing. And for the Use your SCRAPS! challenge - everything on here is a scrap except for the Kraft paper. Thank you Cathy (Catscrapshere) for the Kraft paper! Thanks to my husband and friends on here I have a much better layout. Thanks!
Journaling: We love Seafood and love to eat it while on vacation. We saw this restaurant and decided to splurge on a nice dinner. Too bad we chose this place. The food was okay but not worth the price we paid. We were not impressed at all. Nov 2007 Downtown Disney. Walt Disney World. Pg 2 - While sitting outside on the boat we saw these beautiful swans.
