This is a picture of my grandma on Christmas eve 2006. I hand cut the letters. The journalling reads: December 24th 2006. I gave you a bird that chirped when you squeezed it. You called it your April Bird. You were so thrilled with that simple gift. You found joy in it. Far more joy than I though possible. somehow even with the Parkinson's Disease weighing you down the bird made you smile and laugh. You started taking the bird everywhere with you. Little did I know that a toy bird could be a miracle in disguise. Feel free to leave any comments. God bless.
