You SERIOUSLY have what it takes to work the Basic Grey... and I mean that... wow, this is perfect. I love every thing about this. the photo, choice of papers, the journaling, yours and his... your handwriting... the tearing of the papers, your inking, and the tag! Really a good job!!!
I really like this! You definitely have what it takes for Basic Grey! I like the way you wripped the paper in the bot left and the tag in the top right and the fibers around the monograms... all great effects.... and I realy like the journaling... oh and you matched the colors in the matting perfectly!
Are you kidding? You did an awesome job with mixing up and distressing the BG papers!!!! I love this lo! Love the papers, the lettering, the title tag, the photo frame, love it all :)
I asked my ds to tell me what he liked about his teacher so I could journal it. His quote is on the left side of the page and my thoughts are on the right side.
Journaling: Left side - "She was a good teacher. She taught us lots of stuff - like math and subtraction and how to add." Nathan
Right side: "Mrs. Perzan was Nathan's 1st grade teacher at Kyrene del Sureno Elementary School. Clare indeed "was a good teacher," as Nathan said. She was very organized & consistent, and she made her expectations clear. The children were taught to treat each other with respect. Nathan really did learn a lot this year, thanks to Mrs. Perzan.
My first attempt at using BG (not sure I have what it takes to use this line of paper). TFL!
