Beautiful Journeling. I think I lost a couple tears over that one. I had a boxer pup I got for xmas one year. Only had her a wk and she got sick too. they couldnt fix it and I spent the last couple days injecting fluids in her so I knwo how hard this is. I love this LO and I found it very heartwarming. Straight to mt favs
Stunning lo. I am soo very sorry for your loss. It is so hard to loose a loved pet, they are so much a part of you. Such a sweet little guy he was. You did a beautiful job.
kleenex please! The LO is adorable, the colors and papers you used are just lovely. I'm sorry about your pup.. just remember you're lucky for the time you did get to spend with the little furball!
This made me cry. I love the rainbow bridge poem. It's so sad yet so happy at the same time. We had two euthanasias today. Even though I've been doing it for years it still gets to me.
I love the LO and the design is great! and what a sweet pup! Sorry i cannot read the journaling- i cant know if anything bad/sad has happened to that little pup. So i will just enjoy his sweet little face! TFS!
What a lovely tribute. Love the little clock - reminds us that time with our loved ones, both 2-legged and 4, is just too short! Yours was certainly shorter than others, but I can imagine how much you still loved and miss him.
How sad, such a short time in this world. I love this LO and the poem brought a tears to my eyes. I think the ruler is so perfect because they are so tiny and it's a perfect reminder.
Oh my goodness Ally if he isn't the cutest thing. Look at him he looks like a little teddy bear now I can see how very sad you were to. I love your journaling it gave me goose bumps just reading it. I'm glad you were able to scrapbook such a precious memory I bet it wasn't easy. This one for sure my dear is going right into the favs great job!!!
This is so sweet! What a cute face. My friend has a 16 lb Yorkie. He comes from the same puppy mill that Devil Dog is from. They must breed mutant dogs from hell there. This will sound really bad to anyone that doesn't know my puppies issues. I can't wait to hear when you get your new baby. You can call me at 4:00 am!
I'm sorro for your loss! I just got a Yorkie for Christmas. I bet your dog had the same thing mine did--Hypoglycemia. It is very common with them until they are about 16 weeks old. It deals with their blood sugar and should be taken very seriously. I suggest you look it up online. Our baby almost died from this. His blood sugar was at 25 and should have been 100+...God blessed us. And, to add a note to the earlier comment from Shanna, there are no specialty breed Yorkies. I thought there were, but when I was looking on the AKC (American Kennel Club, for breeding and showing) they say that there are no miniature or toy or teddy breed Yorkies. So, beware when you are buying a new one. A lot of people say that they have specialty ones, and they are all pretty much the same, just depending on their upline. They AKC states that they should weigh no more than 7 lbs, either! Well..sorry for rambling! So sorry for your loss! He looks sweet!! Good luck!
Oh, he is so adorable. He looks like a teddy bear yorkie. I have priced these precious dogs on the internet and they range from $800-7,000. We currently have too adorable Shih-tzu's. I would love to have a Yorkie next. What a great LO in his memory.
This is our puppy that we bought in February of this year. Unfortunately, he got sick, the vets couldn't figure out what was wrong with him, and we had to put him to sleep. Is he not just the cutest thing you have ever seen :) The journaling reads: By the edge of a wood, at the foot of a hill, is a lush, green meadow where time stands still. Where the friends of man and woman do run, when their time on earth is over and done. For here, between this world and the next, is a place where each beloved creature finds rest. On this golden land, they wait and they play, till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day. No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness, for here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness. Their limbs are restored, their health renewed, their bodies have healed, with strength imbued. They romp through the grass, without even a care, until one day they start, and sniff at the air. All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back, then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack. For just at that instant, their eyes have met; Together again, both person and pet. So they run to each other, these friends from long past, the time of their parting is over at last. The sadness they felt while they were apart, has turned into joy once more in each heart. They embrace with a love that will last forever, and then, side-by-side, they cross over…together.
