I had no sooner sat down after watching this amazing wreck unfold to learn a title had come to mind. So here is your NASCAR lesson. This season took into effect a brand new car for the drivers. There was much controversy over the car, but in the end NASCAR stuck behind their decision because of the safety factors of the car. Now fast forward to this afternoon... this guy hits the wall at atleast a 180 mph, flips about 8 times and walks out seconds after his car stops flipping. THAT is amazing. This was qualifying today so luckily enough there were no other cars around. OH - and be prepared. I've already started sketching and writing titles down for upcoming LO's!!!
JOURNALING: “He lost it.” I hear in my left ear. When it comes to racing that only means one thing. Someone has lost control of their car. I turn. My gaze locked into turn one. My heart has stopped. As if in slow motion I watch the car flip, unable to count the flips because of the speed, and then watch a burst of flames spew from the car. After what seems an eternity the car stops, top up - tires down. And everyone holds their breath waiting for the driver to emerge. And then he does. Tears catch in my throat not knowing how to react. Finally, adrenaline, fear, relief all reveal themselves through a prompt and loud applause from all fans. Thank you NASCAR for keeping our drivers safe and our race nation united. PAPER: And Amanda comes in RIGHT ON time!!! I can't really do flowery, pink girly paper for racing pages, right? Well Amanda must have read my mind because her new papers were waiting for me when I got home from the track tonight - The Alternative Paper Pack! Coming so very soon to Oscraps!!! LOVE IT!!!
