The Barkers invited us to their cabin in Island Park on July 5, 2005. We got there around 11:00 a.m. and were lucky because Easton slept most of the way. They have the cutest little cabin! Jess has it decorated really fun and they're getting ready to put in new carpeting and hard wood floors. We ate some sandwiches for lunch and then drove to West Yellowstone, which is about 20 mintues away but we took the 45 minute route hoping that the kids would sleep (no such luck!) We tried to look in a few shops but Easton and Addy weren't interested and it was getting hard to keep them from breaking stuff so we decided to walk down to the park. We let them run and play and they had so much fun. It was Easton's first time on the swings and he was in heaven! We got some ice cream to eat and then drove back to their cabin. Easton has never been so dirty in his whole life! They have a fox that lives in the woods that they've named Foxy Brown and she came right up and ate from their hands. They also have a "Friendship Tree" and Joe carved our initials in it. Easton was sound asleep before we even made it back to the main road and slept from 8 pm until we woke him up at 11 am the next day! We had a really great time with them!
