This page has such a wistful look, and the title immediately inspires longing. Love the details, clothespin, "M.A.C.E.", little blue michigans...and the whole monochromatic effect.
Hooray, my computer paper order finally came in (the perils of living in a rural area), and here's one of the lo's I've been working on while in waiting. This lo is of my ds getting ready for our first big trip back to my home state of Michigan. This was suppose to be a simple lo, since I didn't use many embellies, but it being my first time printing on ribbon and all; well it wasn't simple at all for me to make. It's not exactly what I had envisioned, but I'm pretty pleased with the result, and undeniably happy to be done with this challenging lo :) Oh yeah, just have really simple journaling which is actually the title running around the page "Oh How I Wish I was in Michigan" (an actual movie from the 1920s) - pretty self-explanatory :)
I used Viner Hand ITC font, and Creative Imaginations: Art Wharehouse twill cable ribbon. The little white clothespins were purchased in the card-making section of Michael's. Thanks for looking :)
