APril PAD mini Roots

My roots are in teaching... this is a picture of my mothers calssroom in 1963 (2nd grade Houston). This photo is on my wall in my office with my degrees, teaching certificate and licensure certificates...
It was Valentine and rodeo time in Houston at the time so all the boys are intheir western best. On the lockers are their little Valentine lunch sacks awaiting cards and goodies! My mom retired teaching when I was born...she never truely retired from teaching though!
