for my pal in a swap the first thing she listed as needing was more time to scrap. I instantly thought to make her a clock. I started with a plain wooden base. Painted it, added a handle to the top, and lined the background with a pattern paper. The face of the clock was made by printing onto a transparency then using a template to place the flowers at the correct positions. Added rhinestones to the flower centers, chipboard numbers, and lots of ribbon and fibers. The quote at the bottom was found for me by Taeklund in a magazine and says "Scrapbooking is my time to freeze time; to stop my kids from growing too fast; to ensure I don't loose precious memories; to escape the daily grind, to create and enjoy." Hope you enjoy it Mommie75. :)
