this is just beautiful.... love all the color and I love the design to this whole card.. I wonder who the lucky reciptent will be? I love those bleeding hearts... are all your flowers cute out.. or are they just a bunch of die cuts.. stickers and rub-ons? beautiful!
Seriously looks like something you would see on one of her layouts!! You did an awesome job!! definitely going to have to try some of this. Thanks for the inspiration and easy to understand directions on how you did this.
This is my attempt at the techniques of Irene (aka Scrapperlicious) for the Technically Delicious STW challenge.
I don't think I could ever come close to the beauty of her style but it sure was a lot of fun to try. I used several of the techniques that she described on her blog (see http://scrapperlicious.blogspot.com/).
I picked up some Gesso and used it to stamp butterflies and swirls on the card. I then used 3 or 4 shades of Tim Holtz Distressing ink (another favorite of hers - I'm not sure she could ever use just one color, LOL). I tried the crinkle, flatten, distress style that she's used on her tags and then cut some of the flowers out of the flower sticker and popped them out for dimension. The flowers and bow have Crystal Accents on them to help stand out. And oh the stamps that I used. I think maybe 6 of them. What fun.
Anyway, thanks Irene for so freely sharing how you do your beautiful work. It is wonderful to try new things and bring so many different things together.
