The photo is very intense. I mean that in a good way BTW. I like all the scattered flowers and the hints of white... kind of gives the LO a mysterious quality. Hope that makes sense.
Tracy, this is such a pretty LO! I think that aqua color could have been overwhelming, but you definitely made it into a beautiful page and a wonderful tribute to your friend.
Tracy-this is just beautiful. First of all, props for including so many different challenges into this one! And the handdrawn flowers are amazing! Love the poem, and the colors are just popping right off the page!
OH MY GOD! i'm totally working one for you too- hahahahah!!!! this is spectacular- i think you've hit a all time high for how many challenges you worked in!! the colors are gorgeous- you rocked the doodled flowers- good for you for tackling that, it's tough!!! i love the scalloped paper- you are too freakin' sweet- i am so lucky to have met you!!! xxoxox
This LO is for SEVERAL challenges: 1) The Forbidden City Sister Search Challenge - We had to scraplift one of our oh so talented sisters and at the end of the month we'll all guess who we lifted. After that I will say who I lifted and give her the credit she deserves!!! 2) Doodle Challenge - All flowers around the scalloped CS are hand doodled. 3) 3 Product Challenge - the 3 techniques I did were a. inking b. stamping c. doodling (the hand drawn flower doodles are what I've never done before) 4) The colors of Spring Challenge - this aqua is my favorite spring time color... I did the twist of metal only ... the metal are all the brads I have everywhere!!! and last but not least... 5) Attached at the Hip Challenge - I scrapped my good friend Jen (magpiefound) whom I've become so close with thanks to sb.com. I did 2 of the 3 twists... used flowers and bling... TFL I had such a great time doing this LO and it was a HUGE challenge for me! I've never lifted a LO before and only hope I have done her justice! Journaling is a poem I found online and reads: "Although you are a friend of mine and letters we exchange, I wouldn't know you on the street, and doesn't that seem strange? You hold a place within my life, unusual and unique; We share ideals and special dreams, and still, we do not speak. I picture what I think you are, perhaps you picture me. An intriguin game for both of us for someone we can't see. So for this friendship we possess, we owe this mail a debt, Perhaps the charm lies in the fact that we have never met." Author Unknown.
