Wow! With both of my pregnancies I grew a “basketball” belly, but with you it was certainly the biggest! My hips ached, my back hurt, my feet and ankles swelled beyond recognition…but just knowing you were there, safe and sound within me gave me such an indescribable peace of mind. (Not to mention that you gave newborn Ellie James a perfect place to sleep!) These nine months gave me time to bond with you in a special way, as mother and child. You were part of me then, and will be always. For these precious months you not only grew in my womb, but in my heart…and you continue to do so each and every day! I love you.
