As we were discussing how God helps us deal with each crisis in our lives, Kathleen told us about an analogy that her father has used. When you fix your cup of coffee you put your own flavorings in to make the taste like you want, but the real reason you want the coffee is for the caffeine. God is our caffeine and no matter what else we try to add to our lives, it is just stuff in our cup. as I am trying to clean out two houses I need to remember that it is just stuff in my cup and be willing to let God use me however he will.
