There is journaling hidden behind both the top right pics. Behind pg 1 top right reads: You baptism was such a special day! A day for the joining of our closest friends and family to thank God for giving us such a precious miracle and promising to raise you in the light of the Lord. It was a day of family traditions…you were baptized in the same church that your great grandparents, grandparents, and parents were married. Mommy and Grandma were also baptized here at the Presbyterian Church in Humboldt, Nebraska. You were a special baptism gown made originally by your great aunt Mary for Uncle Philip’s baptism and has since been worn by many other family members, including mommy. The same minister who married mommy and daddy performed your baptism with the help of Grandpa Michael. Daddy’s dearest friends, Kim and Kevin Dusek, stood up with us as your god-parents. Mommy and Grandma Janet tried to sing a special song, “Masterpiece” by Sandi Patti, with grandma Jeanne accompanying, but I ended up crying through the whole thing.

Journaling behind pg 2 upper right corners lists who each person in that pic is and how they are related to Kadence.

The song lyrics on page to are Before you had a name or opened up your eyes
Or anyone could recognize your face.
You were being formed so delicate in size
Secluded in God's safe and hidden place.

With your little tiny hands and little tiny feet
And little eyes that shimmer like a pearl
He breathed in you a song and to make it all complete
He brought the masterpiece into the world.

You are a masterpiece
A new creation He has formed
And you're as soft and fresh as a snowy winter morn.
And I'm so glad that God has given you to me
Little Lamb of God, you are a masterpiece.
And now you're growing up your life's a miracle
Everytime I look at you I stand in awe
Because I see in you a reflection of me
And you'll always be my little lamb from God

And as your life goes on each day
How I pray that you will see
Just how much your life has meant to me.

And I'm so proud of you
What else is there to say?
Just be the masterpiece He created you to be.
