This layout is for the April Hairband Challenge. This month's featured hairband was the incredibly talented Bon Jovi. I wish I still had all my posters I could take pictures of from the teen years. It would have made a great layout. I chose instead to go the song title route instead with "I'll Be There For You."
This picture is of me and my second daughter when she was 3 months old. I've been waiting to scrap this photo for a long time and this seemed like a great song title to go with it. She is definitely a Momma's girl and I wanted her to have a special layout to let her know that even if she ends up being a "middle" child, I will always be there for her no matter what. And that I love her beyond words.
The journal strips are from the Chorus of the song.

The techniques used were from Scrapperlicious' blog. (http://scrapperlicious.blogspot.com/) I used the scissor distressing technique around the edge and attempted the photo mask technique, which I suppose would have come out better if it had been a color photo. But I'll definitely try it again sometime. And the incredible scroll in the corner is from Nicole Lombardo on Etsy.
