This project was very meaningful for me. This is for a friend of mine who, 6 mos ago, lost her home in a fire. She just moved back into her newly rebuilt home today! So I made this for her. I started by stamping all the little cherries onto a light blue gingham paper, which took forever. I inked the stamp with Whispers markers and then colored the cherries and leaves in with pencils. I made a card with the paper as well as decorated a Push Pin Board made out of those black stamping pads, and a mason jar which I filled with homemade cherry jam of course. I also made a little gift bag for the jar as well as a Recipe box and the index cards for inside. She loves Cherries as you might of guessed! (her new kitchen has them in it!) I will put everything into a nice basket as well as some other things I bought her (towels, pot holders, wine, etc). I hope her and her family likes it! ***tfl*
