these are the roots and stumps of two large trees at the park, heavy rains cuased the soil to become so saturated that the wind tipped them over. I tried to photograph them last week when the trees were still attached, but left the memory card at home, this week, the tree tops have been cut and cleared and now only the tipped up roots remain. It will be interesting to see if the park dept. does anything else with them or if they leave them like this.
