about my grandfather's time in the army. Hidden journaling reads:
Thomas entered WWII in 1945. As a farmer supporting a family, he tried to get an excuse. He was unable to and served for about a year. He drove trucks in Europe. While he was gone, just as he feared, his crops were stolen. He says that he knows who did it, but could not prove it.
